There are a number of public transport options that will take you to Cirkus – ferry, tram and bus.

Walking from Stockholm Central to Cirkus takes approximately 40 minutes. Enjoy the boardwalk next to Strandvägen and the scenic Royal Djurgården.
Swoosh past the streets of Stockholm by bike. From Stockholm Central you will be outside Cirkus in about 13 minutes.
Bus 67 goes all the way to Skansen, via Odenplan, Östra Station and Karlaplan. Get off at Skansen, which is the last stop and closest to Cirkus.
Tram line 7 goes all the way from T-centralen to Skansen.
The Djurgården ferry runs from Slussen to Gröna Lund via Skeppsholmen. Get off at Gröna Lund and enjoy the short walk to Cirkus.

PARKING

There are some 20 parking spots outside the Cirkus Restaurant. You will also find a parking garage with some 100 parking spots under Hotel Hasselbacken, located right next door to Cirkus. If you are arriving by bike, you will find a parking area for bikes beside the Cirkus Restaurant parking lot.

Shutdown times of Djurgårdsbron

The entrance to Djurgårdsbron will be closed for Skansen's Christmas Market during the advent weekends on December 2-3, December 9-10, and December 16-17, 2023, from 10:00 to 17:00. The closure applies from the sign at Djurgårdsbron towards Djurgården. A checkpoint "barrier" is located a bit further down the road. The closure does not apply to buses, taxis, or vehicles with a valid handicap permit, nor to cars with a passage permit.
