Al Pitcher's latest comedy show My Happy Place has now completed two tours since its premiere in April 2022. Sold-out houses, three nights in a row at Annexet in Stockholm, and looking at the number of tickets sold, it's clear that many Swedes feel they need a 'Happy Place' with everything happening in the world.
Starting in January 2023, Al begins his final tour with My Happy Place – and now he's traveling from Norrland to New York via Boden to London, etc.
“I have searched quite some time for my own Happy Place but have actually finally realised that for me, it’s on stage. If not before, the pandemic really taught me that,” says Al.
And he's not alone, he receives numerous messages on social media after the shows where people reach out with messages like “Thank you! I really needed that breather!” and “I haven't laughed so much in years! Thank you for that!”.
Because that's what Al wants to deliver with My Happy Place: 90 minutes of laughter and entertainment at a furious pace, where no evening is like the other and where the turbulent outside world has to wait outside.
