About the show

The event is cancelled. Information has been sent to ticket buyers via email on March 3.

Andreas Lundstedt needs no further introduction. As one of Sweden's biggest artists and Sweden's uncrowned disco king, he has entertained us for almost 30 years through a string of massive successes like Alcazar, solo music and musical roles, autobiography, and a successful tour with George Michael's music. Now Andreas is highly relevant with his interpretations in Så Mycket Bättre, and this spring the star is finally going on a solo tour!

From being an artist at Wallmans Salonger, to working in New York as an aerobics instructor, Andreas got his first Swedish breakthrough in Melodifestivalen 1996 with the entry “Driver Dagg Faller Regn” which came in second place. The song was written by, among others, Alexander Bard, a collaboration that would lead to Andreas starting Alcazar in 1998 with his friends Annikafiore and Tess.

The group's first big hit “Crying at the Discoteque” conquered Europe. The Chic sound and 70s feel, combined with a modern touch, took pop to a whole new level and for 20 years Alcazar performed worldwide, on TV, festivals, and clubs. In Sweden, Alcazar became best known through Melodifestivalen with unforgettable hits like “Not a Sinner, Nor a Saint”, “Headlines”, “Alcastar”, “Blame it on the Disco” and “Stay The Night”. Today, the group has sold over 12 million records, received gold and platinum records, and won awards and accolades across Europe.

Alongside Alcazar, Andreas has constantly maintained his solo career. He has written and participated with solo songs in Melodifestivalen (Move 2007, Aldrig Aldrig 2012) and created an SVT documentary about the Disco era in the 70s and 80s in “I Will Survive”, had leading roles in the Swedish productions of musicals like Saturday Night Fever and Legally Blonde, and wrote the autobiography “Mitt Positiva Liv”. In addition, he made a significant impact with his groundbreaking participation in Let's Dance 2020, where he, together with dancer Tobias Bader, was the first same-sex dance couple in the competition's history.

Now the success story continues with a solo tour this spring where we will hear songs from Andreas' entire career in a live band setting – from Driver Dagg Faller Regn 1996, through all Alcazar hits, solo releases, 9 Melodifestivalen songs, and 4 fresh releases with new music from Så Mycket Bättre. And maybe you'll get a taste of a disco tune or a George Michael song as well. Together with a live band, Andreas offers an impressive repertoire in an entertaining concert evening. It will be as much Andreas as it can get!
