“ART” directed by Edward af Sillén, is a comedic drama about friendship and has been praised both after its first successful, sold-out spring at Rival – and for the tour along the country's roads before the 2020 pandemic moved the remaining dates forward in time.
Almost three years after the production premiered, it is time for the ensemble to take the big stage at Cirkus for a final performance.
The play, written by Yasmina Reza, starts with a very expensive and seemingly completely white painting. With clarity, a large dose of humor, and an incredibly strong sensitivity to relationship dynamics, the painting symbolizes the friendship between three friends, their relationship, and how years of poor communication can affect a friendship.
The performance is approximately 90 min (no intermission)
