About the show

Atomic Swing and Popsicle both helped shape how the Swedish '90s sounded, felt, and looked. Now they meet on stage again – two bands with completely different expressions, but with the same obvious place in Swedish music history.

Atomic Swing made melodic rock with groove, nerve, and a distinctiveness that still feels immediate. “Stone Me Into The Groove” and “Smile” made Sweden suddenly sound international. Meanwhile, Popsicle gave Swedish indie an unmatched melancholy – more than 20 years later, “Hey Princess” and “Sunkissed” still set the benchmark against which new, promising indie acts are measured.

This is a lineup that requires little explanation. Two catalogs that still hold up, two bands that made permanent impressions, a tour that once again brings them together on the same stage.
