Batra & Glans – 30 Years Together

About the show

David and Johan have talked about doing a stage show together for as long as they have known each other. They have done countless projects together over the years, such as “Kvarteret Skatan”, “Räkfrossa”, “Morgonsoffan” and “Jättebästisar”, but actually never their own stage show. Until now. For the first time as a duo, they are going on tour with a brand new comedy show to celebrate their three decades together as comedians.

“Batra & Glans – 30 Years Together” premiered on April 6 in Halmstad 2024 and it is now clear that the tour will make one last round in the fall of 2025 and then conclude at Scandinavium in October.

How has this year on the road been?

– This year has just flown by, it feels like we've just started almost. It's a very fun show to perform. And since we decide everything ourselves, we can add and change things whenever we want, you feel very free. Plus, it's great to have a friend with you when traveling through the country, much nicer than sitting alone, says Johan.

– It's been incredibly fun to come out and do our first show as a duo in front of sold-out venues, says David.

What has been the most fun?

– To live out your rock star dreams, even if it's just for fun. It's a thrilling feeling to come out in a big arena, in front of an excited audience and rock out with pyrotechnics and everything. Everyone should try it at least once in their life, says Johan.

– Touring as a stand-up comedian can be quite lonely, so it's really fun to be two, both on and off stage. Additionally, this is a slightly more lavish show than a traditional stand-up performance, so we are quite a large group that takes over each city, says David.
