Bill Champlin – The Next Level Tour with the Legend
About the show
Bill Champlin is known as one of the leading voices in the legendary band Chicago, where for many years he contributed both as a singer, keyboardist, and songwriter. He also has a successful solo career behind him, with several immortal songs that he himself has written.
Joining him on this tour is Champlin's eleven-piece band, consisting of some of Norway's very best musicians under the leadership of arranger, conductor, and musician Lars Erik Gudim. Together they create a massive, dynamic sound that takes the audience on a journey through Champlin's impressive musical career – from Chicago's biggest hits to solo material and innovative arrangements.
As a special guest, the Norwegian guitarist, singer, and producer Ole Børud participates – known for his virtuosic guitar playing, his funk and west coast-influenced solo projects, and as a member of groups like Extol and Fleshkiller. Ole Børud is a strong profile in Norwegian music and is equally praised for his solo albums as for his collaborations with international artists.
