About the show

Welcome to The Little Mermaid – The Musical

Set sail and join us as The Little Mermaid – The Musical sweeps the audience away in a spectacular wave filled with glitter, magic, and humor, accompanied by evocative original music.
In the musical, which is inspired by the original work The Little Mermaid by H.C Andersen,
you will meet both the classic characters and some new quirky ones.
Besides the Little Mermaid, played by the Mello star Kiana, and her well-singing and dancing sisters, you will agonize over the evil sea witch Svetlana and her accomplices the Blobfish Blob and Blob. You will also meet the handsome and quirky Norwegian human boy Olauv, the sea king Moryn, and a whole bunch of fish, crabs, and other eccentric figures living out in the chilly Atlantic.
With a 21-member Nordic ensemble filled with talent, youthful energy, experienced expertise, and swinging moves, we want to give you a visual experience with extra everything!
We hope you leave the performance with a feeling of joy and magic that lingers for a long time.
So sit back, take a deep breath, and glide beneath the surface with us in our story
of The Little Mermaid – The Musical!

Creating magic in two worlds

In The Little Mermaid – The Musical, the creative team has taken their imagination to new heights to create magic and bring a beloved story to life, both in an underwater world and on land. Wilberth Gonzalez, a well-known costume designer for several major productions on Broadway and American TV, has created world-class creations, and now our Swedish audience gets the privilege to enjoy them. To give a sense of a living sea, lighting designer Palle Palmé and set designer Erik Fredriksson have created a visual water world in color, shape, and movement. Last but not least, the trio Theo Dröse, Gustav Parling, and Matilda Winberg, together with Robert Dröse, have created a modern soundtrack with high hit factor music and a unique sound.
With our ensemble and crew, we want the audience to experience The Little Mermaid in a whole new way!
