Ebba Forsberg - Amen, amen, amen - A Tribute to Leonard Cohen

Ebba Forsberg is back with new music and an extensive tour schedule. With her strong, honest, and unique voice, she releases a tribute album to Leonard Cohen – one of the greatest songwriters of our time.
First up is the single Amen, Amen, which will be released on October 17, 2025. The album follows on February 13, 2026, and then a major Sweden tour awaits.
Ebba Forsberg has previously released several critically acclaimed albums, including the debut album Been There (1997) and three albums with personal interpretations of Dylan, Cohen, and Waits. In the spring of 2025, she conducted the tour Ebba Forsberg interprets Dylan, Cohen, and Waits – a success where all venues sold out.
– “We play with reverence and love. Every effort is greater than ourselves. It feels meaningful – and sacred.” says Ebba Forsberg.
The album has been recorded live in the studio, with the same musicians as on the previous successful tour: Ola Gustavsson, Jerker Odelholm, Claes Björklund, Christer Karlsson, and Andreas Dahlbäck, who also produced the album. The translations are done by Mikael Wiehe, who together with Ebba worked to preserve Cohen's poetic power in a new language.
– “This is a new time – from seeking love to seeking peace. I hope Cohen would have agreed. We carry his words forward, in Swedish, with our voices and our hearts.” says Ebba Forsberg.
With the album and tour, Ebba Forsberg invites both old and new listeners to a musical journey where Cohen's timeless lyrics meet a new voice and a new era.
