Archive: Elvis Christmas & Gospel Songs with Grahame Patrick & The Stamps Quartet

About the show
Before Elvis Presley changed the pop and rock world with his first single “That’s All Right Mama” in 1954, he wanted to become a gospel singer. Gospel remained a large and important part of Elvis Presley's life, even during the later part of his career as a world star. Despite being the most successful singer of all time, Elvis Presley was awarded only three Grammy Awards – all for his gospel albums.
The show Elvis Christmas & Gospel Songs brings the audience closer to this unknown side of The King.
Grahame Patrick, called “the best Elvis since Elvis” by The King's companions because he both sounds and looks like the original.
Elvis Christmas & Gospel Songs presents this less highlighted side of The King. An evening filled with well-known Christmas and gospel songs such as “Blue Christmas”, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”, “How Great Thou Art”, “Amazing Grace” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
Grahame Patrick performs together with a live band and the gospel choir “The Stamps Quartet”. The choir accompanied Elvis on over 1000 concerts from 1971 to 1977. Ed Enoch, the legendary lead singer of the choir, was one of Elvis's closest friends throughout the years.
