About the show
It was at the end of the 2000s that three strong artists found each other – together they became E.M.D. with three voices and three personalities. The trio Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson, and Danny Saucedo appeared in Melodifestivalen, won a Grammy, and reached platinum levels after hits like the debut single “All For Love” and “Baby Goodbye”. The album “A State Of Mind” also became a bestseller and topped the charts. In 2010, the Christmas album “Välkommen hem” was released, which is one of Sweden's most beloved and best-selling Christmas albums of all time, with over 300,000 sold. The song “Välkommen hem” still tops the Spotify list during Christmas time.
In 2011, they took a break to focus on solo careers and songwriting.
But now the trio is back in the format that once placed them on the Swedish pop map. In December, E.M.D. finally returns and does so in the form of four full-scale, yet intimate performances in Cirkus's large salon in Stockholm.
The format will be so-called “in the round,” with the singing trio and an orchestra centrally placed in the middle of the beautiful concert hall on Djurgården. It will be an exciting concert evening with both new approaches and beloved familiar ones.
