No one has probably missed his viral success with the song “I am Mom” which has over 26 million views just on TikTok. Since his big breakthrough with the sketch and the song, Emil Henrohn has, among other things, been named the most powerful Swede on TikTok 2022, participated in Melodifestivalen with the song “Mera mera mera” 2023, and performed in the musical Hair 2024. This fall, he is touring the country with his own show “I am Mom – the Show” – a tribute to all moms, especially his own mom. It is now also clear that the tour will continue in the spring!
Moms are the most important we have and it's about time we honor them. My mom means everything to me, without her I would probably never have dared to dream of a career on stage. It feels incredible, fantastic, and super fun to put on my own show for all moms and to meet the audience, says Emil Henrohn.
It will be a wonderful mix of familiar characters like the Nacka mom and Monika Jung, Emil's popular songs, and more personal elements in “I am Mom – the Show” – about mothers, about Emil's role in the TikTok career, and about being adopted. In other words, a humorous and heartfelt show for all moms, everyone who has a mom, and absolutely everyone else who loves Emil's warm humor.
Emil is a fantastic creator and artist who with his unique expression not only makes the young TikTok user laugh. Even his mom and grandma unite when they share the humor clips with each other. I am very much looking forward to developing a fun, musical live experience where Emil gets to meet his broad audience and unite with everyone who enjoys laughing together, says Klas Wiljergård, director and screenwriter.
