About the show
This fantastic band consisting of eight musicians (the same instrumental setup that Clapton usually uses) comes from the Jönköping area and has a long experience in musical contexts. Micael Lilja, who leads the band, has previously released two albums with original music and played with several different tribute projects such as tributes to John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, among others.
Since 2019, the band has delved into Eric Clapton's rich musical world with a treasure trove of songs from Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbraker, Cream, Derek & Dominos, not to mention his solo career. Trying to recreate the sound has been important, and it shows when this band plays together. That's also why they use the same setup that Clapton himself usually uses.
