After international success with H.E.A.T, Skid Row, and several prestigious collaborations, it is now clear: Erik Grönwall will perform his first solo concert in 15 years on May 26 next year. The historic Cirkus stage in Stockholm will be the place where his entire musical journey meets – and where a new chapter begins. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 8 at 10:00 AM on cirkus.se.

During the pandemic, in the midst of his own illness journey, Erik began recording and publishing stripped-down interpretations of both his own favorites and others' songs. What started as a way to keep his voice and soul alive quickly developed into viral videos with a million audience worldwide. In parallel, he is now working on his first solo album — and the concert at Cirkus will be the first time the audience gets to experience the new music live in combination with some of the biggest interpretations from his YouTube channel.
With a band behind him, Erik promises a concert filled with raw energy, musicality, and personal storytelling. An evening where the audience gets to follow him through the entire spectrum: from straight, pulsating rock to stripped-down intensity that only one of the country's greatest rock voices can deliver.

About Erik Grönwall
The Swedish rock singer Erik Grönwall started his career when he won Idol in December 2009. The debut single “Higher” sold gold after just three days, and the self-titled album Erik Grönwall was released only ten days after the final. The album debuted at number one on the Swedish album chart and was certified platinum.
In 2010, he became the singer of the rock band H.E.A.T and released six albums with the band. In 2018, he made his acting debut in the USA in NBC's live concert production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar, a role that earned him a Grammy nomination.
In March 2022, Grönwall announced that he would become the new singer of the American heavy metal band Skid Row. With the band, he released the album The Gang’s All Here and embarked on a world tour that also resulted in the live album Live in London. He continued touring with Skid Row until the final performance on March 22, 2024.
Thereafter, Erik chose to prioritize his health and recovery after his battle with leukemia, which led to his departure from the band. After full recovery, it was announced that he will release new music and tour with the legendary guitarist Michael Schenker.
After fronting iconic bands like Skid Row and H.E.A.T and recently touring as a singer with Michael Schenker, the Grammy-nominated rock singer Erik Grönwall is taking a new step in his career. In the spring of 2026, he will release new music and perform a number of exclusively selected shows in Sweden.
In recent years, he has also built a successful YouTube channel with millions of views and a global fanbase that follows his powerful interpretations and live performances.
