About the show

Erik Lundin's debut EP 'Suedi' became a classic the moment it was released in 2015. The record, which came to define what we know as in-betweenness, was awarded both a Grammis and P3 Guld, and its lyrics took Swedish hip-hop lyricism to entirely new levels. On May 27, Erik celebrates the 10th anniversary of the release by performing the biggest show of his career so far at Cirkus in Stockholm. Tickets go on sale 12/5 at 10:00.

“A decade has passed since I stepped in as the artist Erik Lundin, with my debut 'Suedi'. It had taken me my whole life to first live, and then be able to present to the world. Too many milestones to count, but all count, have been struck down over the years since then. I want to celebrate the journey big with everyone who has made it with me. Whether you got on board yesterday or ten years ago. We continue to party.”

There is no doubt that Erik Lundin is one of Sweden's most respected lyricists and artists.

On the EP releases 'Suedi' (Jan Gradvall in DI Weekend gave it the highest rating and wrote 'A magnificent debut') and 'Välkommen hem' as well as the album 'Zebrapojken', he was the suburban correspondent who told of growing up and searching for identity with both precision and innovation. It's hardly a coincidence that Erik has won the Lyricist of the Year category at the Grammis twice.

In 2017, he joined as a special guest on Håkan Hellström's big tour Rullande åska, and over the years Erik has collaborated with artists such as Daniel Adams-Ray, Annika Norlin & Jonas Teglund, Silvana Imam, and Tjuvjakt.

Last year, the album 'Alla va nån innan dom blev nån' was released, perhaps the most introspective and personal he has done.

In addition to the 'Suedi' performance at Cirkus in Stockholm, Erik Lundin will embark on a longer tour around Sweden this spring.
