There is something enigmatic about Hannes. Despite now being a household name, his artistry remains light-years away from the conventional pop star. His music feels more like a serious play – soulful, free in form, and with an imperfect perfection that feels both disarming and deeply human. The songs move effortlessly between alternative R&B, West Coast rock, and country, but everything is tied together by the softly intimate voice and the casually everyday storytelling that has become something of Hannes' signature. And around the music, a whole world emerges: shaky mobile videos, blurry images, and a vision that, despite its playfulness, always appears crystal clear.
Hannes has been releasing music since 2017, but the breakthrough came with the EP 'When the City Sleeps' from 2021, which includes songs like 'Sugar' and 'I Feel It'. Already the following year, the contemporary anthem 'Stockholmsvy' was released, where Hannes, together with Waterbaby, sings about both the capital and lost love. During 2025, Hannes has released the fantastic songs 'Friends' and most recently 'Wish', where he reunites with Waterbaby. On February 25, Hannes invites the audience at Cirkus in Stockholm to the world of intimacy and singularity that has made him one of the country's most unique voices.
