About the show
Endless horizons, a road trip in the desert on a warm, dry highway and clear blue sky. Hermanos Gutiérrez's minimalist instrumental music paints vivid pictures and it's impossible not to be drawn in. Anchored in the type of reverb-drenched guitar music that Enrico Morricone once popularized with his film music in the 70s, mixed with South American 50s music, the Zurich-based duo manages to take their perfect fusion straight into the present. The brothers Estevan and Alejandro's deep bond is reflected in the seamless interplay where they alternately act as rhythm and melody with their respective guitars. And even though the music has no vocals, it still sings.
Hermanos Gutiérrez released their debut album '8 Años' in 2017 and have since continued to refine their beautiful, hallucinogenic music and built up a large audience around the world. The latest album 'El Bueno Y El Malo' was released in 2022 and was produced by Dan Auerbach, who usually sings and plays guitar in Black Keys. On June 14, the band will release their new album 'Sonido Cósmico' and judging by the already released title track and the song 'Low Sun', we have a new hit to look forward to. On August 27, Hermanos Gutiérrez will bring their enchanting, meditative music to Cirkus in Stockholm.
