The popular and critically acclaimed comedian Anders Jansson is currently on a Sweden tour with his new show “In Full Possession of My Faculties – A Comedy Show by and with Anders Jansson”. The solo show has been well received by critics and audiences. Skånska Dagbladet described Anders as “one of Sweden's best comedic actors” and Kristianstadsbladet stated that Anders “is impossible not to like”. The audience success has played to sold-out theaters in the country during the fall of 2022 and spring of 2023. The acclaimed tour is extended during the fall and on September 23 the show comes to Cirkus in Stockholm!
– I really love being on tour. I get equally moved every time I come to a sold-out theater. Despite high living costs, the audience still prioritizes going out and laughing together. It gives me energy and desire, says Anders Jansson.
In “In Full Possession of My Faculties”, the comedian offers the audience absurd and down-to-earth humor, spot-on imitations, spontaneous improvisations, and physical acting. Human senses are in focus as Anders talks about forest walks, about those who had to play the tambourine in school, the problem with progressive glasses, and that it feels wrong to say “namaste” during a car inspection. The audience gets to know Hjördis with titanium hips, cocky children's book authors, and who guards the Gluten aisle. “In Full Possession of My Faculties” is Anders' third solo show and according to him, the best so far.
– In Full Possession of My Faculties is a living performance that I rewrite a little all the time as new ideas and suggestions arise. In this way, it constantly becomes better, funnier, and unique for each performance. When I receive good reviews and notice that the audience likes my show, I just want to continue touring. And I am so happy that we have added new venues, which I have never been to before, says Anders Jansson.
