About the show
Step into Emma Hamberg's fantastic universe when the novel success becomes theater. A liberating and inspiring stage performance about the female body, libido, embracing life, the freedom to be oneself, and doing as one pleases!
When Emma Hamberg's novel "Je m’appelle Agneta" was released in 2021, success was a fact. The story of a woman breaking free from the dull shackles of everyday life and starting to enjoy life contains both longing and recognition. The book has been loved by readers and sold over 350,000 copies. Now the immensely popular "Je m’appelle Agneta" becomes theater!
When the highly praised book now becomes theater, the female perspective is entirely in focus. The lead actors Anna Granath and Dag Malmberg meet on stage as Agneta and Einar. The script is written by Marie Persson Hedenius ("A Man Called Ove") and Anna Granath directs with an almost entirely female production.
Warmly welcome!
