About the show
The Norwegian sextet Kaizers Orchestra's theatrical alternative rock breaks language barriers.
The group's reunion tour in their homeland, with a total of 56 stops, sold out in less than 15 minutes. There will be three turbocharged concerts in Sweden. Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö will all be visited. It's high time for Sweden to jump on the train and experience Kaizers Orchestra!
Despite singing in Norwegian, Kaizers Orchestra's quirky, conceptually ambitious, and triumphant music is cross-border. A synthesis of Scandinavian and Eastern European folk music, turbocharged with high-energy blues, indie, metal, and rock.
The band will embark on a grand tour in 2024-2025 with stops all over Europe. During 2023, all albums have been remastered and re-released on vinyl.
The band was formed in 2000 when the band's singer, keyboardist, and drummer found each other while studying to become music teachers. The guitarists were two old childhood friends, and the original bassist was found through a recommendation at the local music store. The debut took place at a Norwegian festival, and right from the start, the audience exploded in a communal sing-along. Now that they are reuniting, we can promise even bigger sing-alongs, an even larger audience, and an even more cross-border show!
