Katie Melua returns to Sweden – June 23, 2026, Cirkus in Stockholm
On June 23, 2026, Katie Melua finally returns to Sweden for the first time since 2018, when she last performed in Stockholm. The concert takes place at the historic Cirkus, the same venue where she last performed with the Gori Women’s Choir in an acclaimed and atmospheric concert.
Katie Melua is one of the UK's best-selling female recording artists of all time and has established herself as one of the most expressive voices of her generation. She has so far released nine studio albums, all of which have reached the top 10 on the album charts: Call Off The Search, Piece By Piece, Pictures, The House, Secret Symphony, Ketevan, the self-produced and critically acclaimed In Winter (2016), Album No. 8, and Love & Money from 2023.
Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and raised in the UK, Katie was educated at the renowned Brit School of Performing Arts. Her breakthrough came in 2003 when, at the age of 19, she made her mark with her unique voice and a rare ability to convey presence and emotion in every song. In addition to her career as an artist, she is also a prominent songwriter, composer, and arranger. With over 11 million albums sold and more than 56 platinum records to her name, she continues to evolve artistically and is currently working on her tenth studio album.
