Laura Ramoso, the famous sketch comedian, is finally making a long-awaited visit to Sweden as part of her tour “The SIT UP STRAIGHT Tour”. She will take the stage at Cirkus in Stockholm on April 16, 2024. With her award-winning specials and viral impressions, Laura has created iconic characters like “German Mom”, “Italian Dad”, and “Girl who just got back from…”, and has also appeared in TV series such as “What We Do in the Shadows” and “The Marsh Job”. Laura Ramoso broke through in 2019 and is best known for her viral impressions on Instagram and TikTok. Laura has nearly 2 million followers on social media where her popular characters “German Mom”, “Italian Dad” and “Girl who just got back from…” are a hit and one clip after another goes viral. In 2022, she returned to the stage with her acclaimed live show, FRANCES, which was a success. Earlier this year, she performed a completely sold-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Soho Theatre and Laura Ramoso was named Just for Laughs “New Face of Comedy 2023”.
With a mother who worked at WHO, Ramoso grew up all over the world and developed a keen eye for perceiving cultural traits with universal recognizability.
