About the show
LP returns to Sweden - takes over Cirkus on June 25
After previously acclaimed concerts at both Gröna Lund and Annexet, there is a new chance to experience one of the most unique voices of our time. This time in Cirkus's magnificent salons on June 25.
With a powerful vocal, genre-crossing attitude, and a rare sense for songwriting that transforms emotions into strong pop choruses, the American artist LP has become one of her generation's most admired singer-songwriters.
The global breakthrough came in 2017 with “Lost on You,” the heart-wrenching folk ballad that reached number one in 18 countries and today counts billions of streams. LP's catalog contains a string of anthems about love, identity, and self-discovery.
LP's unique sound moves effortlessly between alternative pop, rock, folk, and soul. Driven by acoustic elements, cinematic arrangements, and a voice that can be both fragile and explosive in the same breath. The distinctive presence and emotional precision have made LP a live artist with an unusually strong connection with her audience.
In addition to her own career, LP has written songs for artists such as Rihanna, Cher, Backstreet Boys, and Céline Dion, but on stage, the personal expression is always at the center. The performance at Cirkus will be a cherished reunion, an intimate moment, and an atmospheric concert where the voice, songs, and presence are fully expressed.
