About the show
Inspiration is, as we know, a fickle force. Unless your name is Stephin Merritt, that is. The Magnetic Fields have been almost provocatively good since their debut in 1992. Just take the masterpiece '69 Love Songs' (1999), which, as the name reveals, contains 69 idiosyncratic love songs of the highest class.
This year the album turns 25, which will be celebrated with a special tour where Merritt – along with original members Sam Davol and Shirley Simms, as well as Chris Ewen and Anthony Kaczynski – will perform the album in its entirety over two evenings. For the Swedish part, this will take place at Nya Cirkus on September 14 and 15. Tickets, including a limited number of two-day tickets, will be released on Friday, February 16 at 11:00 via Luger.se!
Wheelchair seats can be booked via tickets@cirkus.se or via Ticketmaster: 0776 70 77 77
