Melody Club

About the show
After a decade of silence, Melody Club, the iconic band that left its mark on the 2000s music scene with its synth-driven pop rock, is returning. In the fall of 2025, they will take the legendary stage at Cirkus in Stockholm, where an electric concert awaits. Here, loyal fans and new generations will gather to celebrate one of the most explosive and energetic live bands of the 2000s. This is not just a comeback – it is a triumphant tribute to the band's legacy and immortal hits.
The band created an unmistakable soundscape that combined influences from 80s synth and new wave with modern pop melodies. The band name itself was a promise of what they wanted to create – songs filled with melodies that not only stuck but became a part of the listeners' lives.
The debut album “Music Machine” from 2002 became a milestone, and the singles “Electric” and “Palace station” quickly became favorites on both radio and dance floors. The breakthrough was followed by more songs like “Covergirl”, “Baby (stand up)”, “Boys in the girls room” and “Destiny calling” which cemented their position as one of Sweden's most exciting music exports during that period. Tours took them
beyond Sweden's borders, reaching an international audience, especially in countries like Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
Now, over two decades after the band's start and a decade after their last performance, Melody Club reunites to give their loyal fans what many have longed for – another chance to experience their music live. November 5, 2025, is the evening for those who were there during their heyday, and for a new generation who discovered their music in recent years, this will be a night to remember. The band says:
“We are incredibly excited to play our songs live again, I have really missed singing and dancing to them together with our amazing audience. The concert will be one big synth-disco-rock-pop explosion with everything extra as it usually is at a Melody Club concert, this evening turned up to the max!”
