Molotov + La Mala Rodriguez

About the show
Formed in Mexico City in 1995, Molotov isn’t just a band—it’s an institution in Latin rock.
The group is made up of Tito Fuentes (guitar/vocals), Micky “Huidos” Huidobro (bass/vocals), Paco Ayala (bass/vocals), and the unmistakable Randy “El Gringo Loco” Ebright (drums/vocals).
Since their debut in 1997 with the iconic album ¿Dónde Jugarán las Niñas?, the band has broken the mold. Their blend of rap-metal and socially incisive lyrics won over both Spanish- and English-speaking audiences, earning Grammy nominations for their alternative rock performance.
Their legacy continued with legendary releases like Apocalypshit (1999), produced by Mario Caldato Jr. (famous for his work with the Beastie Boys), and the acclaimed Dance and Dense Denso (2003), which gave us generational anthems like “Frijolero” and “Gimme Tha Power.”
Mala Rodríguez, a two-time Latin Grammy winner, is an undisputed figure in Spanish-language rap. Her career includes global collaborations with artists such as Romeo Santos, Calle 13, and Nelly Furtado. Her unique style, blending flamenco with hip-hop, has broken cultural boundaries.
