On November 6, Mwuana takes the stage at Cirkus in Stockholm for a live performance unlike anything he has previously offered or will invite his audience to again. In addition to previews of unreleased songs, which he has never performed live before, and exclusive unseen clips from the documentary “Mwuana: Above All”, the audience can expect a unique insight into Mwuana's creative process and the passion and determination that drives him forward in music and life, through moments of both doubt and triumph.
With over a hundred songs released and countless millions of streams, Mwuana has cemented his place as one of the brightest stars in urban music, whose devoted fans grow in number every day. He debuted with the critically acclaimed album “Triller” in 2017, which earned him the award for Best Hip Hop at P3 Guld and three Grammy nominations. Since then, he has continued to be a guiding star on the Swedish music scene, with his unique hybrid of R’n’B, hip hop, and alternative pop creating a sound that is both uncompromising and captivating, which is also reflected in his acclaimed live performances.
The documentary “Mwuana: Above All”, which had its world premiere at Way Out West this summer, has been praised by both fans and critics and provides an intimate insight into how Mwuana went from the underground scene to becoming one of Sweden's most influential artists. Through exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes material, we follow his quest to find his true expression, and the challenges and personal sacrifices that have marked his journey.
