Archive: The Nutcracker with Classical Ukrainian Etoile Ballet

About the show
The beautiful tale of young Clara's adventures and the Nutcracker – full of exciting stories, transformed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky into the world's most popular classical ballet in 1892. Today, the Nutcracker ballet has become a worldwide Christmas tradition; this performance is staged annually on the world's theater and opera stages. The universal language of dance is understandable to all audiences even without translation – and tells the story of a girl's fragile dream, the battle between good and evil where love wins. Dancing snowflakes, the Nutcracker, toy soldiers, and the Sugar Plum Fairy come to life in this magical family classic. Experience a magical adventure with a little girl named Clara, as she goes to bed on Christmas Eve, meets her prince, is confronted by a battle with eye-catching rats and mice, and is led into the delightful land of sweets– it even snows on stage! The story is much more than just a Christmas tale. It is a story about growing up which is also reflected in the dance. Now it's time to fill your soul with inspiration, warmth, and new dreams. This is the place where you can forget troubles and hassles, immerse yourself in the magical world and remember childhood dreams.
