Finally, it's time again to celebrate Swedish popular music by awarding Sveriges Radio's prestigious music prize P3 Guld – and you are invited as the audience! The evening of January 22 will feature live performances by Amanda Bergman and Radiokören, Markus Krunegård, Daniela Rathan, Orkid and Killen, Molly Sandén, Boko Yout, Maria Jane Smith, and Terra.

The twenty-second gala in order is hosted by the award-winning radio and TV presenter Christopher Garplind.
-Every morning I wake up sad and the reason for that is that I am not a musician. Hosting P3 Guld is probably the closest I can get. It will be extra fun to do it at Cirkus in Stockholm where so many iconic music moments have taken place both on and behind the stage. I expect more on January 22, says Christopher Garplind.

Since 2003, P3 Guld has been a natural part of the Swedish music scene, a gala evening where music and the music year take center stage. During the live broadcast evening, some of the country's biggest and most interesting artists will perform live. Prizes will also be awarded for artist of the year, group, song, song quote, album, and future artist. Additionally, the Guldmicken and P3 i Ikon will be awarded.

Sveriges Radio celebrates 100 years this year and has been an arena for new music since 1925. Therefore, we are especially happy to start the year with this tribute to Swedish music.

After the gala, the public celebration continues in the Cirkus restaurant with DJ and bars.
