Her debut album Horses from 1975 is considered one of the most influential albums in rock history and has been inducted into the USA's National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress. Her extensive discography spans several decades and includes classics such as Radio Ethiopia, Easter, Wave, Dream of Life, and People Have the Power.
In addition to music, Patti Smith is also an acclaimed author, photographer, and visual artist. She has been awarded the National Book Award for the award-winning memoir Just Kids, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received numerous international accolades, including the Polar Prize in 2011.
