Per-Erik Hallin
About the show
Per Erik Hallin's long career as a pianist, singer, and songwriter dates back to the 60s.
Besides his time with Elvis Presley, where he participated as a musician and piano soloist on the song Feeling In My Body from the album Good Times, Per Erik has also participated twice in Melodifestivalen, released several albums under his own name, and worked as a musician behind domestic artists such as: Magnus Uggla, Carola Häggkvist, Ted Gärdestad, Ulf Lundell, Ola Magnell, Anders Widmark, Harpo, Bernt Staf, John Holm, Ingemar Olsson, and Frank Ådahl.
Among the international artists he has played/collaborated with, we find: Andrae Crouch, Tata Vega, Joseph Williams, etc.
A concert with Per Erik can, besides swinging and honest gospel/soul, also include elements of Donald Duck's voice since Per Erik has also dubbed animated films as Mr. Duck's voice.
Accompanying him at the concert are musicians who toured in Per Erik's regular band in the early eighties. This particular lineup of musicians has not played together for about forty years! They also participate in some of the albums that Per Erik has recorded.
Drums in the band are handled by Klas Anderhell. Klas has a long musician career behind him. He is currently playing with Sven Ingvars and has played with artists such as Hanne Boel, Mikael Rickfors, Mats Ronander, Walter Trout, Carola, Pugh Rogefeldt, etc.
The guitars are played by Olle Junholm. He also has a long and distinguished career behind him, working with artists such as: Carola, Per-Erik Hallin, Christer Sjögren, Charlotte Perrelli, Tommy Körberg, Helen Sjöholm, Andrae Crouch, Michael Ruff, etc.
On bass, we find another veteran – Anders Mossberg. He has played as a freelance musician for Andrae Crouch, Richard Smallwood, Tata Vega, Jessy Dixon, Edwin Hawkins, Larry Norman, Olsen Bros, Bjorn Eidsvag, Hanne Krogh, Carola, Oslo Gospel Choir, Paulo Mendonca, etc.
Additionally, both Anderhell and Mossberg have played with the hard rock band Jerusalem.
All in all, this promises to be a truly exciting music fest!
