Archive: Per Persson 60 years!

About the show
The songwriter and artist Per Persson has long been a part of Swedish music history. As the bandleader of Perssons Pack, he has been praised by a unanimous group of critics for albums like “Äkta hjärtan”, “Kärlek & dynamit” and “Öster om Heden”, and has played to a devoted audience. In March 2023, he reaches the respectable age of 60, something that will be celebrated by friends such as Lars Winnerbäck, Nadja Evelina, Staffan Hellstrand, and Tomas Andersson Wij. On March 8, they will join Per Persson at Cirkus for an evening.
Tickets go on sale on Monday, November 28 at 10:00 AM.
About Per Persson:
When Per Persson left Trasse Lindéns Kvintett in the late '80s, he began a journey that would establish him as one of Sweden's most skilled songwriters. The band he created, Perssons Pack, debuted in 1989 with the album “Kärlek och dynamit”. However, they became most known to the general public for the 1991 creation “Tusen dagar härifrån”, where a young Jakob Hellman appears on vocals and also recorded under his own name. Over the years, Per Persson has recorded with Engmans Kapell, Sofia Karlsson, and in 2020 he appeared on Så mycket bättre, where he performed “Tusen dagar härifrån” with Plura in front of an audience including Jakob Hellman.
When Perssons Pack bid farewell in 2014 with a sold-out show at Nalen, Persson continued under his own name. But it didn't take long before the desire to play in a band returned, leading to the birth of Per Persson & Nya Packet.
