About the show
Steranova presents Rewşan Çêliker
Rewşan is a prominent Kurdish musician, singer, songwriter, and violinist, born in Tatwan in Bitlis. With her unique voice and strong artistic identity, she performs music with a presence that deeply touches.
Rewşan was educated at the Pera Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul, where she studied violin. However, her artistry extends far beyond the instrumental; she has also studied drama therapy and acting, with a master's degree in the latter. This versatile background permeates her stage expression, where music, emotion, and storytelling merge.
Since 2017, she has been an active force in the music scene and has performed as both a violinist and vocalist with the Istanbul Film Music Orchestra. Rewşan has been involved in several cultural projects within Europe, working together with maestro Aram Talalyan in Armenia and Georgia “Symphony Orchestra of Peace Melodies.”
Since 2018, she has paved her own path as a solo artist with a strong and passionate mission: to revive forgotten melodies and give them new life. Through her work, Rewşan Çêliker builds a bridge between past and present, where tradition meets contemporary in a powerful, vibrant expression.
