About the show
For 25 years, The National Dance Company of Ireland has toured around the world, making it the longest-running Irish dance show in the world. Now they are coming with a new production of 'Rhythm of the Dance'. It offers adventurous entertainment of the highest class on this anniversary tour.
The show is a journey through Ireland's history – from the ancient myths and legends to the modern and urban present. The dance also reflects the journey from the original Irish dance that forms the basis of all Irish dance to the modern. All with an impressive light display and fantastically beautiful costumes.
The award-winning dancers shine on stage and are accompanied by the best live musicians. The music is performed with many different instruments such as flutes, guitars, and drums. In addition to accompanying the dancers, the musicians themselves take the stage as they perform the Celtic music with enchanting power.
Fans around the world make the stages sway as they clap and stomp in rhythm with the dancers and the Celtic music in this fantastic show.
