Ronny Chieng is a standup comedian, actor, and correspondent on “The Daily Show.” In addition to two Netflix standup specials, Ronny has appeared in “Crazy Rich Asians,” Marvel's “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” “M3GAN,” “American Born Chinese,” “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.,” “Vacation Friends 2,” and “Joy Ride.” This fall, Ronny Chieng embarks on his tour “THE LOVE TO HATE IT TOUR,” with a stop at Cirkus in Stockholm on August 29.
Ronny Chieng is a versatile standup comedian and actor, born in Malaysia and raised in both the USA and Singapore. After studying at the University of Melbourne, he began his comedy career in Melbourne in 2009 and has since become an internationally recognized comedian. He has toured worldwide with his standup comedy shows and has also appeared in several TV productions in Australia. Ronny has also created and starred in his own TV series. He has won several awards for his standup comedy shows and has also been recognized for his TV appearances. In addition to his work as a comedian, he has also had success in the film “Crazy Rich Asians” and released a critically acclaimed stand-up special on Netflix.
