The album's first single “Malin” from the fifth album “Idol” is now released!
Without actual hits, without a clear front figure, without hyperactive social media presence and perhaps
also just by being a rock band – and then a band in every sense – Solen should
according to common industry practice have lived in the shadows. But because they calmly,
methodically and consistently have done everything in their own unique way, the band has instead gradually
grown in popularity, established a close relationship with the fans, and now fills large concert venues
around the country.
Solen has never ever “broken through”, they have been fully occupied with building something
sustainable. So here we are now: the Stockholm quartet with roots in Gävle and Fagersta releases on October 27
their fifth album “Idol”, where unlike last time they have used a
real drummer, and shortly thereafter embark on a tour that begins in Gävle on November 2 and
ends just under a month later at Cirkus in Stockholm on December 1.
