About the show
Swan Lake, originally performed in St Petersburg in 1895, is staged to Pyotr Tchaikovsky's immortal music and is one of the world's most popular ballet productions. With the unbeatable “white acts,” the spectacular and dramatic ballroom scene, the exquisite music, and the deeply touching story, this is a ballet that overshadows all others.
In Swan Lake, the story is told of the young Prince Siegfried who falls deeply in love with the swan princess Odette – a young woman transformed into a white swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart. This is a story of how true love conquers all.
Heritage Ballet will perform this balletic masterpiece as it was meant to be seen, with beautiful traditionally painted backdrops, Tchaikovsky's fantastic score, and critically acclaimed dancers performing the full-length production for the Stockholm audience.
The set design that Heritage Ballet presents Swan Lake in Stockholm Cirkus with is truly very spectacular.
In these sets and costumes, Swan Lake has been presented on the world's best stages like Theatre des Champs-Elysees in Paris, London Coliseum, Howard Gilman Opera House in New York, and many others…
Swan Lake is undoubtedly a production everyone must experience at least once in their lifetime, and The Heritage Ballet's debut in Stockholm with this ballet sensation gives the audience a performance they will never forget.
