KISS classics come to life when conductor Ulf Wadenbrandt and the Sweden Symphony Orchestra join forces with Mikkey Dee and friends in a grand rock-symphonic project. A powerful tribute to one of rock history's most iconic bands awaits – complete with an orchestra dressed in true KISS style.
After the great success in Moscow 2018, conductor Ulf Wadenbrandt is now bringing the grand concept to Sweden. In a unique musical experience, the Sweden Symphony Orchestra – dressed in true KISS spirit – and Mikkey Dee with friends meet to interpret the legendary rock classics from KISS in an entirely new symphonic form.
The audience can look forward to iconic songs like “Detroit Rock City”, “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” and many more – in arrangements that combine the explosive energy of rock with the grand power of the orchestra.
“This is a tribute to both rock and symphonic music. KISS songs are already great – but together with an orchestra, they become monumental,”
says Ulf Wadenbrandt, conductor and initiator of the project.
