Archive: The Blues Brothers Approved - Starring Brad Henshaw

About the show
The band The Blues Brothers was born in the 70s from a comedy act with two brilliant stars: John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd.
After the success of their first album “Briecase Full of Blues” and a subsequent tour, they followed up with an iconic comedy film interspersed with music and unique guest appearances. In the film, which has become a cult classic, several famous soul & blues legends such as Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin appear. Hits like “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love” and “Soul Man” are played – songs that continue to be loved and played decade after decade.
Now the film characters Jake and Elwood return in the largest Blues Brothers production in the world. Songwriter, producer, and actor Brad Henshaw stars as Jake. With powerful soul, rhythm & blues, it offers unbeatable entertainment backed by an outstanding live band and fantastic artistry.
Since 1995, the show has toured in Australia, Africa, Asia, and Europe, including several successful productions on London's famous “West End.” These two rebellious brothers have truly turned theater stages upside down worldwide. The show is approved and licensed by Dan Aykroyd and Judith Belushi.
This is the show that started it all and continues to be the absolute best Blues Brothers production in the world.
