The Kilkennys consist of four Irish, charming songbirds: Dave Cashin, Josh O´Loughlin, Mick Martin, and Tommy Mackey. The band is known for transforming traditional Irish-Celtic tones into modern Irish pop music.
Their unique and skillful playing style with a variety of instruments, such as bodhran, percussion, mandolin, banjo, guitar, flute, bass, and several others, as well as their vocal talent, has made them a beloved band among the Irish audience.
The quartet has successfully toured worldwide and is, besides in Ireland, particularly known in Scotland and the USA.
The Kilkennys have shared the stage with some of Ireland's most prominent musical icons, including Shane McGowan and Finbar Furey.
They are seen as worthy successors to the legendary The Dubliners.
