The Pretenders, with guitarist and singer Chrissie Hynde at the forefront, are highly relevant with their latest album “Relentless” released earlier this year. Next year, the band will bring their impressive catalog with songs like “I’ll Stand by You”, “2000 Miles”, “Brass in Pocket” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong” to Cirkus in Stockholm on September 9!

The debut album was released back in 1979 and includes hit songs like “Kid” and “Brass in Pocket”. Since then, The Pretenders have released several critically acclaimed albums and in 2005 the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The latest album “Relentless” came in 2023 and became their highest-ranked album in 23 years. The record was universally praised and described by The Times as “this is The Pretenders at their rocking best” and The Telegraph as “Relentless might just be one of the most thrilling things you’ll hear all year”.
With a new album, The Pretenders returned to live stages all over the world and just in the past year, the band has performed over 60 shows in the UK, USA, and Europe. At their concert in London for Independent Venue Week, The Guardian stated that The Pretenders are “as sharp as ever, with new songs stealing the limelight from classic hits”.
