Wardruna - World Tour - Part II

About the show
Since its inception in 2009, Wardruna has captivated audiences worldwide by intertwining ancient sounds and traditions from the Nordic region with a modern soundscape. With a wide selection of both traditional and historical Nordic instruments – as well as non-traditional sound sources such as trees, stones, bones, water, and fire – they create grand soundscapes deeply rooted in ancient Nordic traditions. The themes of the music are drawn from nature, mythology, and the ancient Nordic heritage.
Wardruna's music is based on meticulous research and study, but the focus is on sowing new seeds rather than merely reproducing the past. By drawing thoughts, tools, and methods from history, they create music that both honors the past and speaks to our present.
With significant contributions to the TV series Vikings and the game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Wardruna has reached a global audience and cemented their position as a unique musical force. Their sold-out concerts at iconic venues like the Odeon of Herodes Atticus at the Acropolis and Red Rocks Amphitheatre are testament to their worldwide impact.
