Cancelled: The Movement – a political soirée

About the show
Why care?
Politics is too important to leave to the politicians. We are in a world that is frightening and sometimes the challenges can feel completely overwhelming.
Among sharp statements, manifestations, and false facts, it is difficult to catch your breath and think through what is significant and true.
How can we manage to tackle the problems together? What can we do and why does it matter what we do? We discuss experiences of and strategies for care and collective action.
Two evenings at Liv(e)modern with discussions and music about social engagement.
Discussion leader Pernilla Glaser and house accompanist Staffan Hellstrand.
November 12 the guests are Tilde Björfors circus director at Cirkus Cirkör, who brought new circus to Sweden and has shown how pressing contemporary issues and dizzying aerial acrobatics can be combined, and Daniel Suhonen author and head of the think tank Katalys, who poses questions about how we ended up in a polarized time and shows what we can do to move forward.
